Moving forward in the fight against malaria: Mosquirix.

After many years of vaccine development, the WHO confirms that the world's first malaria vaccine will be implemented in sub-Saharan Africa. The vaccine, RTS,S, is the first to survive Phase 3 clinical trials and will be deployed in pilot projects with vaccinations starting in 2018.
